A shop advertised ?Everything half price in our sale?, but also now advertises that there is ?An additional 15% off sale prices?. Overall, this is equivalent to what reduction on the original prices?

Fifteen percent off the half price is equal to seven and a half percent off the original price

Start with 100, left with 50 after 50 % off. 15% off 50 is 7,5 so left with 42,5. 42,5 is 42,5 % of the original 100 therefor the shop has a 57,5% sale.
